Me

Most difficult thing to do.. about me ..

Me, Pirmin, born in the 1970s.

Studied technical computer sciences in the pre-Internet
and pre-AI time from 1990 to 1993 holding a degree Dipl. Ing. (BA) in production related technical computer science. Diploma Thesis was „Information Logistics in a production control /  planning system“. Which was partially implementation short time after with IDS Prof. Scheer FI-2.

As I’m a child of the late 80 / early 90s in IT business I did naturally implement all the PC and network stuff at that time including even the soldering of cables and some hardware stuff. Big fights of the early 90s was „PC guy“ against the „established Mainfraim world“. Hard stuff. Sys Admin on Windows server, Unix  and IBM AS/400, DB Admin on Oracle and MS SQL server. More and more moving to Sysadmin and development lead on business applications starting JD. Edwards B73.3.1. Since early 2000s with Axapta 2.1 now known as MS Dynamics D365 F&O, Financial or SCM. Started  in  AX as tech guy and sysadmin. Moving more and more in the application logic and business process implementation. Having  short excursion in MS Skype for Business implementation. Getting more and more ERP implementer, project lead role by doing various update and company mergers, moving to implemention in UK and China and in 2023 a green flied implementation of D365 in a Pharma company.

All this time I was in the „internal IT / Business logic“ departments. Fighting and solving the issues between the „software“ – „ consultants promise“ – „users expectations“.

Speaker on various ERP Events ( Live or internet) and since 2018 holding university lectures on Business process management, IT systems, Digital transformation and ERP as special topic At the DHBW Lörrach.

Married with 2 kids, doing fly fishing, SUP paddling, cooking classes, working to get a motor boat ;), have already the driving license.

If there is any thing I can help you with my experiences drop me note.
